Winnipeg Jets Select Björk in First Round

WINNIPEG, MB

The Winnipeg Jets sent shockwaves across the hockey world this afternoon after selecting Icelandic music superstar Björk in the first round of the draft this year.

“We’ve been scouting her for a while,” said GM Kevin Cheveldayoff. “Ever since ‘Human Behaviour’ really. You should see how she is on the forecheck.”

Björk will bring some much needed depth to the Jets’s struggling second line and experts say the pick should be no surprise.

“To be totally honest, we’re trying to sell some season tickets in Gimli,” said Cheveldayoff. “We tried to draft Laufey, but it looks like the Leafs got to her first.”

Björk will reportedly play every home game this year wearing her infamous Swan Dress.
