Mennonite Man Creates “Build Your Own Papsi” Kit

LA CRETE, AB

Do-it-yourself and father-of-eight Peter Klippenstein, 37, of La Crete is tired of all the “axpansive Papsi” his wife Aggie comes home with and has decided to build his own cola. He’s even sharing the recipe with the world.

“For one can of Papsi, all you need is two cups of sugar and a splash of water, plus some brown food colouring,” said Klippenstein. “Let me tell, once you max all this together, you can’t even tell the difference yat.”

Klippenstein’s new home-made Papsi has really caught on northern Alberta Mennonite country where locals have completely abandoned the real stuff altogether.

“Oba, why would I buy a can of Papsi when I can eat two dozen sugar cubes and a teaspoon of water and it’s the same thing,” said local man Mr. Fehr. “I’d have stopped drinking Papsi a long time ago if I’d known about this!”

While Mr. Klippenstein has perfected his fake Papsi recipe, local are eagerly anticipating what he comes up with for do-it-yourself Ravels.
