Mr. Penner has been hitting the fields in earnest this week spreading the smell of money all across the RM of Hanover and beyond.
“I got half my field spread with the smell of money this morning,” said Mr. Penner. “And I’ll be coating the second half with the smell of money this afternoon.”
Some residents, however, are not too pleased with the smell of money.
“It may smell like money to Mr. Penner,” said Mr. Fehr. “But it just smells like pig shit to me. Plus, I’m not seeing any of that money.”
Thankfully, the smell of smoke came wafting in this afternoon to mask the smell of money.
“And if we’re lucky, we’ll get hit with a smell of the feed mill sometime this weekend,” said Mr. Fehr.
