FIFA Agrees to Let Trump Officiate Tonight’s World Cup Match

SEATTLE, WA

After a last second phone call from Donald Trump, FIFA President Gianni Infantino has agreed to let the US President act as head referee for tonight’s match in Seattle.

“He knows so much about football,” said Infantino. “No one knows as much about football as he does. So it was only natural we let him call the shots.”

While the move was seen as controversial in some circles, even the Belgians did not object to the decision.

“We’re hoping for a fair and honest World Cup finals,” said Belgian coach Rudi Garcia, “and what better way to remove an inkling of political corruption than to have Trump make all the decisions, on and off the field.”

Trump initially was excited for the chance to officiate the match, but soon backed out of the opportunity, however, after he learned he’d have to run around nonstop for 90 minutes.
