Subway Opens in La Broquerie

LA BROQUERIE, MB

The small town of La Broquerie, Manitoba has just become home to the tiniest subway in the world.

“You get on at the HyLife Centre and it takes you all the way to the Catholic Church,” said Mrs. Hebert. “And back!”

The new La Broquerie subway is the first in all of Manitoba.

“I heard there was one in Morris, but it turned out to be nothing but a sandwich shop,” said Mrs. Hebert. “Yup the La Broquerie subway truly is a wonder of the world.”

The subway will open this weekend. Tickets are just $1.50 for the inner arrondisements.

“It’s another fifty cents if you want to go to Kokomo Road,” said Mrs. Hebert. “Plus you have to pay extra for pickles, of course.”

The hope is one day the subway can extend all the way to Steinbach so the Mennonites can sneak over to the neighbouring town to get their booze.
