Manitoba Issues Province-wide “Yellow Snow” Warning

WINNIPEG, MB

Premier Wab Kinew held an emergency press conference this afternoon to announce the entire province was now under a Yellow Snow Advisory.

“Don’t eat it. Don’t touch it. Don’t go anywhere near it,” said Kinew. “You never can be too careful with yellow snow.”

Parents have been told to keep an eye on their children and their pets, too.

“Fresh snow is fine, but this time of year we sometimes get an influx of yellow snow,” said Mrs. Friesen of the North Kildonan Clean Snow Committee. “It can even be dangerous for your pets, too, although some reports suggest they may also be the cause of the problem in the first place.”

With a Yellow Snow Advisory beginning this evening, Manitobans will be huddled up inside.

“Playing crokinole,” said Mrs. Friesen. “Either that or watching the Olympics. Seems like they might have a bit of a yellow snow problem there, too.”

The province is also warning residents not to stick their tongues on any metal poles until this whole thing blows over.
