SASKATOON, SK
Canadian provincial and federal leaders showed a united front this afternoon as they gathered in Saskatoon to see who was the better knipser.
“Of course, Wab Kinew had a big advantage being from Manitoba,” said TSN Crokinole Analyst Bob McKehler. “They may seem like they’re at odds when the camera are rolling, but I hear he and Kelvin Goertzen are often knipsing together behind closed doors.”
Also showing strong was Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe.
“There’s a reason we hosted this tournament here in Saskatoon,” said Moe. “I alway flick better on my home board.”
Danielle Smith and David Eby were paired up in the double tournament and demonstrated a shocking level of compatibility.
“Eby would knock out the opponent’s knipsers, leaving Smith a wide open lane for a 20,” explained McKehler. “I’ve never seen that kind of cooperation between them before.”
Only Ontario Premier Doug Ford seemed to struggle.
“I guess all that time in Kitchener-Waterloo was for naught,” said McKehler. “His shots were just so aggressive that his knipsers always ended up on the floor and had Mark Carney scrambling on all fours trying to pick up the pieces.”
All the Atlantic Premiers apparently had no idea what was going on. Meanwhile Quebec Premier François Legault spent the whole time explained how pichonette was the much better game.
