WASHINGTON, DC
A request from the Ministry of Truth in Washington has pressured Webster’s Dictionary to redefine “ceasefire” as “all out warfare.”
“Too many people were under the false impression that ceasefire means you actually cease firing,” said the memo. “This new definition will provide people with a lot of clarity on the matter.”
A ceasefire will now be defined as no different than any active military engagement.
“We’ve gone back in the history books to make some changes, too,” said the report. “From now on World War II will be called the Ceasefire of 1939 and the Vietnam War will be called Southeast Asia Peace Time.”
The new rules will also allow up to 50 million people to be killed before a skirmish gets called a war.
