Reitmans Introduces New ‘Angine de Poitrine’ Line

MONTREAL, QUEBEC

In an effort to appeal to a younger hipper audience, Canadian clothing retailer Reitmans has recently introduced a new Angine de Poitrine line of polka-dotted blouses and skirts.

“I never knew Reitmans was so hip,” said 18-year-old Angine de Poitrine superfan Stephanie Miller. “They’ve got a full line of polka dot items. The only thing they’re missing are double guitars and phallic-shaped masks.”

Miller was window shopping at her local mall this week when she encountered the new line.

“I was really surprised. What’s next? King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard merch at Ardene?” wondered Miller. “I’m really going to have to start shopping with my mom more often.”

Reitmans reportedly sold more than 100,000 polka dot blouses for Angine de Poitrine’s recent performance at the Montreal Jazz Festival.

“What can I say? Polka dots are in right now.”

In other news, dozens of Mennonite grandmothers were confused for Angine de Poitrine fans at the Winkler MB church lobby this morning.
