NEW YORK, NY
There were plenty of surprises on the star-studded guest list at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding this week, including Dakota Johnson, Gigi Hadid, and several members of the local Amish community.
“They even let a few Mennonites slip in,” said celebrity gossip columnist Olga Sawatzky. “I’m sure their contribution to the potluck was top notch.”
Sawatzky stuck around to watch Taylor open her wedding gifts, which included a copy of Martyrs Mirror and a 5-piece set of Royal Albert Old Country Rose china.
“Plus the wedding had a lot more marshmallow and whipped cream salads than I was anticipating,” said Sawatzky.
Also unexpected was the officiant who just so happened to be Rev. Adam Schartner from the local MBMCEMC church.
“Apparently he made Taylor and Travis get baptized a few weeks before the wedding,” said Sawatzky. “This gave them just enough time for the church ladies to bake all the raisin buns.”
Taylor and Travis plan to spend the night at the Menno House in Manhattan before they jet off for their honeymoon in Goessel, Kansas.
