Mrs. Friesen Rushes Inside to Avoid Freezing Her Buns

GRETNA, MB

Mrs. Helena Friesen had a leftover plate of raisin buns from the funeral this afternoon, which required her to hightail it to her Honda CRV lest she freeze her buns off.

“Jauma, it’s cold out there,” said Mrs. Friesen. “Sure hope I make it to the car so my buns don’t freeze.”

The risking of freezing her buns is very real.

“Too real if you ask me,” said Mrs. Friesen. “I know several MB ladies who froze their buns last winter. Even when they got them inside, it was too late and the buns had to be discarded.”

Warming previously frozen buns is possible, but Mrs. Friesen says it’s not the best.

“My Henry hates it when I reheat my buns,” said Mrs. Friesen. “He says he can spot a fresh set of buns a mile away.”

Mrs. Friesen managed to get he buns to the car, but says they’re borderline forzen and hopes her husband doesn’t notice during faspa tomorrow.
