Area man Larry Enns, 51, normally swears off sports completely, but for some reason is really into the Blue Jays this evening.
“I’ll be on the edge of my seat,” said Enns. “Rance Mulliniks is playing third base, isn’t he?”
Enns is also really looking forward to seeing Dave Stieb start game six and hopefully even witness a home run or two by Jesse Barfield.
“I’ve got my tickets for Exhibition Stadium,” said Enns. “Might be a bit chilly, but if Kelly Gruber can handle it, than so can I.”
Enns is even sporting a lovely Ernie Whitt jersey, though his wife Karen assumed all her husband’s Blue Jays gear was just a Halloween costume.
