Ed Sullivan Theatre to Be Demolished and Replaced with Donald J. Trump Center for Free Speech

NEW YORK, NY

The historic Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York will be torn down this week and replaced with a $1.8 billion Donald J. Trump Center for Free Speech.

“I’ve always been a very big fan of comedy. I like jokes very much,” said Trump. “We’re going to build the best, very best, museum to free speech. Very big. Really biggly.”

The theatre was the long term home to TV hosts Ed Sullivan, David Letterman, and Stephen Colbert.

“Which is why we wanted to tear it down and build a monument to free speech,” said Trump.

Any jokes told at the new building, even in whispers, will have to be approved by the White House.

New Yorkers are saddened by the loss of the historic theatre but are just grateful it’s not being turned into a ballroom.
