After Travelocity messed up his travel plans this spring break, area man Dave Martin of Kitchener was relieved that he’d at least get to spend the next 9 hours on hold listening to “Blue Rondo a la Turk” on repeat.
“What can I say? I used to be a rock n’ roller,” said Martin, “but now I’m really into jazz. Thanks, Travelocity.”
Even though it cost him thousands of dollars, a night of sleep, and years on his life due to stress, Martin says it’s all worth since he go to listen to some Dave Brubeck.
“I hope they mess things up like this more often,” said Martin. “Maybe next time I’ll get to spend all night listening to Miles Davis while the incompetent fools at Travelocity do nothing to solve my problem.”
