Author Andrew Unger started writing satire exactly ten years ago and in that time has posted more than 3000 fake news articles about schmaunt fat.
“I began this project as a way to see just how long one person could make the same schmaunt fat joke day after day,” said Unger. “As it turns out, it’s possible to subsist on nothing by white cream gravy humour for more than a decade.”
On occasion Unger has considered tackling another topic, but schmaunt fat is just the gift that keeps on giving.
“It’s an endless supply of comedy,” said Unger. “You can do jokes about. schmaunt fat EpiPen, schmaunt fat CPap machine, schmaunt fat in the Steinbach water tower – you name it.”
Oddly enough, Unger is also celebrating ten years of being told ever single day that “this site used to be funny before it got political.”
